Darlene Marie (Mlejnek) Bush

Darlene M. Bush, age 84, of Bronson, passed away on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center of Sioux City.  A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church of Moville with the Msgr. R. Mark Duchaine officiating.  Burial will be at Arlington Cemetery of Moville.  A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 one hour prior to service from 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church of Moville.

Darlene M. Bush was born January 13, 1934 in Rice Lake, Wisconsin to Otto and Laura (Miller) Mlejnek.  She received a two year Associates Degree in Education from Barron County Normal School.

Darlene was united in marriage to Clifford Bush on February 20, 1960 in Moville, Iowa.  To this union four children were born: Craig, Roxanne, Jeffrey and Roger.

Darlene worked for the Mutual of Omaha for ten years prior to her marriage to Clifford and then enjoyed being a homemaker for her family.  She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and belongs to the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.  She enjoyed cats, flowers and birds.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Darlene is survived by her husband, Clifford, of Bronson, IA; children, Craig Bush of Bronson, Roxanne (Kent) Westerman of Lawton, IA, Jeffrey (Mary) Bush of Ankeny, IA, Roger (Linda) Bush of Williams, IA; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  She is also survived by brothers, Vern Mlejnek of Arkansas and Alan Hargrave of Minnesota.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Bronson Fire and Ambulance.
