Dean was born on September 25, 1980 in Lathrop, Missouri to parents, Dean and Anita (Cowden) Robinson. He graduated high school in Lathrop, Missouri, and then went on to college at the age of 16. He was employed at Farmers Coop in Ida Grove, where he took great pride and enjoyed his job. Dean and Samantha were united in marriage on November 7, 2009. To this union two children were born, Lexi Mae (4) and Phineas Jay (2).
He enjoyed fishing, playing with his children, spending time with his friends and family, grilling and working. He also enjoyed bringing faith into his children’s lives by teaching Lexi and Phineas about Jesus and the Bible.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Robinson; his grandparents, Nolan Cowdon, Margaret Harris and George Harris; his father-in-law, Frank Swanson; his grandparents-in-law, Loraine Dose, Louis Bertelsen and Marilyn Gunderson.
Those left to cherish Dean’s memory include his wife, Samantha Robinson of Battle Creek; children, Lexi Mae and Phineas Jay; an honorary son, Thaddeus Wilson (age 10); his parents, Dean and Anita Robinson of Lathrop, MO; brother, Bobby Robinson of Lathrop, MO; grandmother, Clara Cowden of Kansas City, MO; father and mother in law, Jay and Sandy Eason of Omaha, NE; mother-in-law, Peggy Swanson of Battle Creek, IA; sister and brother-in-law, Kami and Darin Byers and niece Ellah Byers of Cushing, IA; and brother-in law, Ben Eason and nephew, Bodi Eason of Battle Creek, IA; an honorary aunt, Chris Gunderson of Battle Creek, IA; and many other extended family and friends.
Funeral:
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Battle Creek with Rev. Kevin J. Freese officiating.
Burial:
Burial will be at the Converse Cemetery of Converse, MO. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the church.
