Deborah Jo Bremer

Deborah Jo Bremer, age 54, of Moville, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center of Sioux City.  A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church of Moville with Msgr. R. Mark Duchaine officiating.  Burial will be at Arlington Cemetery of Moville.  A visitation will be held on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 PM. at the Nicklas D. Jensen Funeral Home of Moville.

Deborah “Debbie” Jo Bremer was born September 22, 1963 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Frank and Mona (Byers) Juarez.  She was a graduate of Woodbury Central High School in 1981.  After high school she earned a degree from WITCC and soon after began her career as a medical transcriptionist.

Debbie was united in marriage to Johnny William Bremer on November 12, 1983 in Moville, IA.  Together they raised their three sons in Moville where she has lived the past 30 years.

Debbie worked for St. Luke’s Hospital for many years, then at Midtown Medical Clinic before working at the Mercy Singing Hills Clinic for a total of 28 years. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Moville where she was active in the choir and as a cantor. She also sang for many weddings and funerals.  Debbie loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and she especially enjoyed watching her sons wrestle and play sports.  She enjoyed music, shopping for gifts, pets and angels.

Debbie is survived by her husband, Johnny Bremer of Moville, IA; children, Andy and wife Ivy Bremer, Tyler Bremer and Jordan Bremer, all of Moville, IA; grandchildren, Cora and Quinn Bremer; mother, Mona Juarez of North Sioux City, IA; siblings, Simone Horn of Sioux City, IA, Michelle and husband Wayne Davis of Sioux City, IA, JeanAnn and husband Marty Weiland of LeMars, IA, Frankie and wife Nikki Juarez of Salix, IA and Tony and wife Agnes Juarez of Chicago, IL; sisters-in-law, Vicki and husband Bill Hulse of Moville, IA and Sandy and husband Jeff Hummel of Schleswig, IA; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Maria and Librado Juarez, August and Pearl Byers; father, Frank Juarez; mother and father-in-law, Jack and Darlene Bremer; and brother-in-law Pat Horn.
