Gavin Lee Sievers

Gavin Lee Sievers was born on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Unity Point – Blank Children’s Hospital at 10:14am. Gavin and his twin brother Jaxon spent 5 days in the NICU before both coming home to Johnston, IA. Gavin loved to be loud. Whether it was in the bathtub, on the floor playing, jumping in his bouncy seat, or waiting to be fed, he let you know he was there. His smile was infectious to all those who saw him and he would spend hours talking to Jaxon. While his life on earth was only for a little while, he touched the hearts of all those who knew him.

Gavin is survived by his twin brother Jaxon; his parents, Shane and Connie Sievers; dog Tyson; grandparents, Ronnie and Margo Sievers of Rembrandt, IA and Clark and Jean Conover of Holstein, IA; Uncle Shaun Sievers of Okoboji, IA, Uncle Clark and Aunt Meri Conover (Gabe and Sophie) of Liberty, MO, Uncle Chris and Aunt Kesley Conover (Ryan) of Oakland, IA, Uncle Clint and Aunt Heather Conover (Christian, Alexia, Grant, Ty) of Ida Grove, IA, Uncle Casey and Aunt Kim (baby June 2016) of Council Bluffs, IA, and Great Grandma Mary Conover of Holstein, IA.

Gavin is preceded in death by his Great-Grandparents Myron and Grace Van Cleave, Great-Grandfather Alex Conover, Great-Grandparents Charles and Ruth Ann Johnson and Great-Grandparents Fred and Leona Sievers.
