Irene M. Kohn was born May 15, 1923 to Mary (Meister) George Todd on their farm place in Washta, Iowa.
She was united in marriage to Delbert Kohn on May 25, 1949. They moved south and east of Cushing where they spent the majority of their lives.
Irene loved the farm. She enjoyed raising chickens, working in the field and caring for her cats. She treasured her family and enjoyed their visits.
Irene is survived by her children, Dennis Kohn of Holstein, Tom (Jackie) Kohn of Cushing, Janet (Kelly) Klink of Renner, S.D., and Tim (Holly) Kohn of Cushing; grandchildren, Mike Morrow of Cherokee, Chad (Marla) Morrow of Cushing, Tony (Kim) Kohn of Cushing, Jason (Pennie) Kohn of Cushing, Emma Kohn of Cushing and Mariah (Taten) Hingst of Yankton, S.D.; great-grandchildren, Nick and Cody Hofstader, Brandi and Shannon Morrow, Austin Benberg, Jennifer (Matt) Moron and Zoey, Bryen and Taden Kohn; great-great-grandchildren, Paxton, Landon, Michala, Lorelai, Alex and Blaine. She is also survived by sisters, Betty (Pete) Paulsen of Holstein, IA, and Mary Lou (Norman) Carstensen of Ida Grove, IA.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Delbert; children, Rickey Kohn and Karen Kohn; and siblings, Glenn (Arliss) Todd, Albert (Lorine) Todd, Louie Todd and Marie (Raymond) Jepsen.
