Irene Winterhof

Irene Brown was born February 26 1918 in Linn Grove, Iowa to Lewis and Ethel (Tunsel) Brown. She graduated from Linn Grove High School in 1935. Irene was confirmed and baptized on April 24, 1939. She was united in marriage to Edgar Winterhof on December 15, 1940. To this union four sons were born, Gordon Le Roy, Warren Edgar, Kenneth Dean, and Ronald Keith. Irene enjoyed bowling, BINGO, cards, quilting and golfing. She was a member of the Galva Legion Auxiliary, a 4-H leader and a member of St. John Lutheran Ladies Aide. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, Gordon Winterhof (4/25/41) and Kenneth Winterhof (2/24/04); brothers and sisters, Anita, Russell, Owen, Bob and Phyllis; daughter-in-law, Janice Winterhof; sisters-in-law, Verna Witt and Betty Mimms; and brothers-in-law, Louis Winterhof and Ernest Witt.
