Julia Ann Terry was born January 3, 1960 to Francis and Norma (Means) Cronin in LeMars, Iowa. In 1962 the family moved to Holstein where she graduated from Holstein High School in 1978. Upon graduation, Julie attended DMACC in Ankeny, Iowa and graduated in 1979 with an operating room technician degree. Julie married her high school sweetheart, William Terry on February 27, 1981. They were blessed with four beautiful children, Briana (1984), Jacob, (1986), Brandi (1987) and Jenna (1991).
She began her career as an OR technician at St. Lukes Regional Medical Center in 1980. She spent 33 dedicated years at this hospital and ended her career as a scheduler facilitator.
Julie was an active member of the Church of the Nativity parish in Sioux City. She always kept herself busy with work, and of course playing taxi to all four kids. She was both a coach and cheerleader for her children in all of their events and continued this with her grandchildren. Julie was not only a mother to her own children, but also to her children’s friends. Julie loved spending her time with her family and friends, especially the large gatherings at Thanksgiving and Christmas. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, baking, camping, playing cards, and taking a few trips with Bill in the semi. Julie was a down-to earth person who will be remembered for her great work ethic, fun sense of humor, and a positive attitude. Julie always had a smile, no matter what kind of day she had.
She was preceded in death by her father, Francis Cronin; father-in-law, Clifford Terry; brother, Douglas Cronin; sister-in-law, Janella Terry; her grandparents and two nephews, Kevin Niemeier and Darin Hunt.
