Kingston Hayes Krager was born on July 3, 2013 at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska. Kingston weighed 4 pounds, 7 ounces. Throughout the pregnancy there were complications. Kingston got to spend extra time with his mom while on bed rest for 14 weeks. He appeared strong throughout the pregnancy. At birth, Kingston was a fighter, just like he had been for the last 14 weeks. Unfortunately, there were more complications than expected. Kingston was baptized at Children’s Hospital and Medical Center on July 4, 2013. Kingston entered heaven on July 4, 2013 at the Children’s Medical Center in Omaha, NE, in the arms of his parents. Kingston’s short life will always be celebrated on the 4th of July by his parents and family members. He will always be their little “firecracker baby.” Big brother, Kreighton Krager, was so proud to meet “his baby.” During Kingston’s short life he taught his family members about hope and love. Kingston’s parents feel blessed and lucky to have met him. Kingston was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Opal and Edwin Knoffloch, Retha and Glen Cosby, and John Dellinger; paternal great-grandparents, Evelyn and Burdette Bogenrief and Elwayne and Gladys Krager and great aunt, Vera Marietta. Kingston is survived by his parents, Kristi and Kyle Krager and big brother, Kreighton Krager of Cushing, Iowa; grandparents, Orren and Celia Knoffloch of Storm Lake, Iowa, Deb and Dennis Krager of Holstein, IA; great-grandmother, Mable Bogenrief of Bearice, NE; and many other extended family members and friends.
