Leonard L. Munsen was born on December 1, 1930 to Arthur and Mary Munsen. He graduated from Correctionville High School.
He was united in marriage to Eva Munsen, and to this union four children were born. Eva and Leonard were lifelong business partners all over the United States.
Leonard was a volunteer fireman, a member of the Chamber of Commerce and a member of the American Legion.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Eva; his parents; a brother, Harold; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Leonard is survived by his daughters, MaryAnn and husband Jim Kristl, JoLynn and husband Mark Demarest, and Karen and husband Kirk Bruene; his son, Steven and wife Melissa Munsen; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and lifelong friend, Don Brauninger.
Graveside:
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Correctionville Cemetery.
Burial:
Burial will be at the Correctionville Cemetery with military rites conducted by the American Legion Mumford Moon Post 79 and the V.F.W. Post 1750 of Correctionville. A dinner will follow at the Correctionville Assembly of God.
