Luella M. Cipperley was born February 15, 1924 to Otto and Hattie Olson in Cherokee, Iowa. She graduated from Cherokee High School. Luella was united in marriage to Marlin Cipperley on November 23, 1943. To this union three children were born.
Luella worked at Abbott lab in North Chicago during WWII while her husband was serving in the Navy. They started Holstein Plumbing and Heating in 1948 where she was a bookkeeper.
Luella enjoyed doing volunteer work at the Good Samaritan Society and was very active at St. Paul Lutheran Church. She also enjoyed playing golf and cards with the gals. She loved spending time with her family and being a grandma.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marlin; her great-grandson, Charlie; and nine brothers and sisters.
Luella is survived by her children, Danny (Norma) Cipperley of Lincoln, NE, Charles (Jackie) Cipperley of Sioux City, IA, and Linda (David) Grell of Prior Lake, MN; grandchildren, Anne (Chad) Gaskell, Laura (Kerby) Todd, Brian (Lisa) Cipperley, Jacqueline (Tony) Antonio, Angela (Steve) Mendrzychowski, Jon (Christina) Cipperley, Kyle (fiancé Anne Doshier) Cipperley; great-grandchildren, Mason Todd, Maclain Todd, Luella Gaskell, Hazel Gaskell, George Gaskell, Sarah Cipperley, Samantha Cipperley, Nathan Cipperley, Evan Cipperley; three brothers; and three sisters.
