Margaret “Marge” Carolyn Ebert was born on November 3, 1922 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Frank and Irene (Zoeller) Ebert. She was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Marge graduated from Taylor Allerdice High School and from Robert Morse School of Business.
Marge met the love of her life when he attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh with the U.S. Army Air Force. On September 5, 1945, Marge was united in marriage to Donald Fett in Pittsburgh. Together they were blessed with three daughters.
During most of their married life, Don and Marge farmed in the Hanover area. They enjoyed their winters in Arizona as snowbirds, and retirement in Alta. For the past six years Marge has lived at WEL-Life.
Marge enjoyed having friends and family around the table for a meal or coffee, playing cards, and knitting. She loved visiting with her family, especially enjoying the precious moments with the little great-grandchildren.
Marge was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don; and great-granddaughter, Janie Courter.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters and their husbands, Lynn and Jim Turnquist of Omaha, NE, Jeanne and Bill Dahl of Plano, TX, and Margy and Doug Joslin of Marshalltown, IA; grandchildren, Amy (Tim) Courter of Sandy, UT, Beth (Gus) Bassani of Katy, TX, Sara (Jason) Wheeler of Richmond, TX, Jeff (Robyn) Dahl of Austin, TX, Brandon (Jen) Dahl of Allen, TX, Chad (Lucy) Joslin of Carol Stream, IL, Todd (Jodi) Joslin of Cedar Rapids, IA; and nine great-grandchildren, Ben and Nathan Courter, Isabel, Lauren and Grace Bassani, Brynley and Preston Dahl, Brian Joslin, Zoe Joslin, two sisters; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
