Florence Marguerite Bernard was born January 27, 1920 in Oto, Iowa to James and Gertrude (Schoberg) Callaghan. She married Wilfred James Bernard on September 30, 1940 in Oto.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred; son, Robert “Bob” J. Bernard; daughters, Patricia Katherine “Kay” Petersen, Nancy J. Dose, Therese L. Gurr, and Susan E. Bahlmann; two grandchildren, Kathleen LoJacono Werner and Chad Petersen; and son-in-law, Richard “Dick” McNally.
Marguerite is survived by her children, Mary McNally of Fort Worth, TX, Anne (James) LoJacono of Salem, VA, Jane (Don) Dixon of Correctionville, IA, Jack (Ann) Bernard of Phoenix, AZ, Anita (Tom) Simmons of Clarion, IA, Jim (Kathy) Bernard of Anthon, IA, Joan Bernard of Cedar Rapids, IA and friend Tom Attaway; 29 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
