Milton Gene Caboth was born September 14, 1936 to Christian and Henrietta (Suling) Caboth in Aurelia, Iowa. He graduated from Alta High School in 1954.
On October 13, 1957, Milton was united in marriage to Darlene Fahr at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Hanover, IA. They were blessed with two children, Mark and Michelle and six grandchildren.
Milt’s career started at Rystad Hardware in Alta, IA, until starting his own business, Milt’s Service Center in 1974. He enjoyed working hard and knowing all of the people he met throughout his career. Milton enjoyed summer vacations and fishing at the lake with his children and grandchildren, trips with friends to Arizona, golfing, playing cards, bowling, dart ball, and keeping up with his children and grandchildren and all of their activities. Milt was a member and actively involved at St. Paul Lutheran Church, and served on many boards. He also served in the National Guard for a few years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; parents-in-law, Floyd and Martha Fahr; brothers-in-law, Wayne Langner, Jack Kendall, and Rev. Duane Fahr; and sister-in-law, Kathy Fahr.
