Patrick S. Bailey

Patrick S. Bailey was born January 17, 1968 in Denver, CO. He graduated from Hinkley High School. After high school he attended community college studying motorcycle repair. He had a natural talent for fixing cars. Pat chose to serve in the military and was scheduled to start a career in the Air Force when a near fatal accident changed the course of his life. He and other family members moved to Iowa ten years ago from Denver. Pat worked for Rides, VT and later, Tyson.

Pat loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. A few years ago he discovered the joys of gardening. He was proud of his tomatoes and even made pies from his apple tree.

He was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents; aunts, Mary and Alice Bailey; uncle, Conrad Burg and cousin, Matthew Burg.

Patrick was the beloved son of Theresa and James Bailey; stepson of Jana Bailey; brother of MaryAlice Drew; uncle to Michael, Matthew and Faith Drew; great-uncle to Nyke Drew; all of Alta, Iowa. Patrick was the nephew of Norman Burg, Rose Burgus and Frances Pray.

Patrick passed from this life too soon, but will remain in our hearts forever. He will be missed by all who were blessed to have had him in their lives.
