Robert Claus Frahm was born to Claus Frahm and Anna Clausen on a farm near Cushing, Iowa on November 30, 1923. He married the love of his life, JoAnn Hupke, on July 6th 1958. They enjoyed 54 years of married life together. To this union they had two sons Robert Jr. and Larry.
Robert enjoyed farming, especially raising his cattle. He was quite an accomplished accordion player. He played the accordion for Governor Beardsley and made several records which he was quite proud of. Robert and JoAnn enjoyed dancing to old time Polka music. He thoroughly enjoyed teasing and talking German with his grandsons.
Preceding Robert in death were his parents; sister, Lavina; brothers, Arnold and Roger Frahm; and sister-in-laws, Betty Frahm and Sally Frahm.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn; sons, Robert Jr. of Lawton, Iowa and Larry and Rita; grandsons, Noah and Joshua Frahm of Galva, Iowa. He is also survived by his sisters, Selma and husband Ralph Radke of Galva, Iowa, Betty and Dick Christiansen of Newell, Iowa; brother, James Frahm of Galva, Iowa; plus many friends, nephews, nieces, and cousins
