Sandra Kay (Wilson) Schuett

Sandra K. Schuett, age 79, of Holstein, passed away on Saturday, January 09, 2021 at the AbiliT Senior Living of Holstein.  A private family funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church of Holstein with the Rev. Tami Groth officiating.  Burial will be at the Holstein Cemetery of Holstein.  There will be a live stream of the funeral service on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 10:30 a.m.  A link will be provided at the www.nicklasdjensenfh.com.

Sandra Kay Schuett was born on January 29, 1941 to Charles and Stella (Hall) Wilson.  She was united in marriage to Gary Schuett on November 2, 1963 in Cherokee, Iowa.  To this union two children were born, Tim and Brenda.  They raised their family in Holstein, Iowa where Sandra was a homemaker.

Sandra was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Holstein where she played in the hand bell choir.  She enjoyed quilting and counting cross-stitch.

She is survived by her children, Tim and wife Lori Schuett of Climax Springs, MO and Brenda Schuett of Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Jill Canavan of Climax Springs, MO, Ryan Canavan of Ames, IA and Devon Schuett of Denver, CO; great-grandchildren, Jacquez Canavan of Fort Dodge, IA and Daytoria Johnson of Des Moines, IA.  She is also survived by brothers, Harlan and wife Joanny Wilson of Albuquerque, NM and Norman Wilson of Indianapolis, IN; sisters-in-law, Darlene and husband George Franzkowiak of Schaller, IA and Luella and husband Dale Nydene of Storm Lake, IA.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gary in 1999; grandson, Draylyn Johnson; niece, Kim Blenner; nephew, Kirk Franzkowiak; and sister-in-law, Janice Wilson.
