Steven Kenworthy

Steven Kenworthy, age 69, of Sioux City, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at the MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center of Sioux City. Private services will be held.

Steven Allen Kenworthy was born September 12, 1954 to Thomas and Norma (Barry) Kenworthy in Des Moines, Iowa.  He and his brother, Thomas were raised and attended school in Des Moines and graduated in 1972.

Steve was married to Rochelle (Boock) on September 30, 2006.  They lived in Des Moines from the time of their marriage until 2009 when they moved to Independence, MO.

Steve held different jobs over the years but worked for the Home Depot for 20 years before he retired. In his free time he enjoyed golfing, drumming and playing video games.  He always found great joy in spending time with his pets.  He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.  He will be remembered for his smile and sense of humor.

He is remembered by his wife of 17 years, Rochelle; mother, Norma Kenworthy; son, Jared (Megan) Kenworthy and their children, Brooke and Graeme; and daughter, Carly (Brandon) Kenworthy.

Steve was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Kenworthy; brother, Thomas Kenworthy.
